And here is the third “ace” promised by Movisport for the Monza Rally Show, taking place from December 6 to 8. Following Nikolay Gryazin and Sami Pajari, another beloved name joins the lineup—none other than Tony Cairoli, a motocross legend and nine-time world champion, who is no stranger to rally racing.
Cairoli exemplifies the versatility of an elite athlete, excelling across various motorsport disciplines thanks to his natural talent and competitive mindset. His participation in the Monza Rally Show 2024 further cements his legendary status, drawing attention from fans and motorsport enthusiasts alike.
Cairoli, who raced under the Movisport banner last year at Rallylegend, has taken part in multiple editions of the Monza Rally Show, competing against professional drivers and other renowned athletes. He has consistently delivered strong performances, impressing with his quick adaptation to rally driving.
Here are Cairoli’s words following the announcement of his participation: “We’re excited to return to Monza, an event I’ve always enjoyed. Since it’s not a traditional rally, it’s easier for us, who only race once every two years without testing, to approach. It’s a race followed by many fans, and the circuit allows direct interaction with the spectators. That’s the spirit we love about Monza; we’re there to have fun and put on a show, which is what we aim for in these kinds of events. We enjoy ourselves, connect with the sponsors who support us, and offer some entertainment to those who come to watch us.”
Cairoli will drive a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, prepared by Delta Rally, with Eleonora Mori from Veneto as his co-driver—a pairing seen previously at Monza in 2018 and Rallylegend 2023. This endeavor is made possible thanks to a partnership between Movisport, Delta Rally, and SPOTUP, alongside Graphic Service Srl, a company based in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna), specializing in innovative and professional solutions in digital printing and graphic services. For years, Graphic Service has been a key player for individuals, businesses, and professionals seeking high-quality, customized products.
The car’s livery will feature Airlite technology, an eco-friendly mineral paint that purifies the air, sanitizes surfaces, and promotes healthier environments. This sustainable, non-polluting paint is produced using 100% renewable energy sources, ensuring it is both planet-friendly and health-conscious.
The Monza Rally Show will kick off on Friday, December 6, with a 2.46 km Shakedown, and conclude on Sunday, December 8, with the Masters’ Show starting at 1:00 PM.
