600 registered for an amateur obstacle test at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. The proceeds will be donated entirely to support the fight against leukemia.
The solidarity events continue at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. After the March LILT and the Handcycling GP Monza last June, tomorrow, Saturday 23 July, the Temple of Speed will welcome the participants of the Monza Power Run , a charitable and non-competitive race whose proceeds will be donated in its entirety to support the fight against leukemia. The event is organized by the LELE Forever ODV Association, which for over 20 years has supported the projects of the Adult Hematology Department of the S. Gerardo Hospital in Monza for over 20 years.
The 600 members, who during the test will have to try their hand at overcoming scenic obstacles, climbing, jumps and fords, after the start at 6 pm in Villasanta will stop at the Autodrome for the most intense of the two days, the one in which they will have to face a race of 12 Km. Once on the circuit, they will cover short stretches of the track, pass on the historic overpasses and on more treacherous terrain, such as the escape routes of the track and the parking areas.
The event, which will continue on Sunday 24 July with the Monza Sprint Run of 6 km between Villasanta and the Monza Park, is open to everyone, even without having a medical certificate and with the sole requirement of having completed 18 years. It is also possible to participate individually or together with your team, consisting of at least 4 competitors, with a minimum donation of 43 euros for the 12 km and 26 euros for the 6 km, and following all the registration procedures specified on the website www.monzapowerrun .it .
