On the occasion of the Formula 1 Pirelli Gran Premio d’Italia 2024, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza is transformed into a pulsating center of global solidarity. Rise Against Hunger Italia, the well-known international organization committed to fighting hunger and poverty in the world, will be there to involve the public in an extraordinary initiative: a solidarity race to support the population of Zimbabwe, severely affected by one of the most serious droughts in recent history.

Solidarity Runs at the Speed of Formula 1

From August 29 to September 1, visitors to the FanZone, located between the famous high-speed circuit and the straight that follows the Ascari curve, will have the opportunity to take part in a unique challenge: packaging meals for communities in need in Zimbabwe. In a celebration that evokes the team spirit of Formula 1, participants will come together to assemble ingredients and create nutritious meals, directly contributing to the well-being of thousands of families in a state of food emergency.

An Ambassador of Excellence: Claudia Peroni

Supporting and promoting the initiative will be sports journalist Claudia Peroni, an icon of world motorsport and ambassador of Rise Against Hunger Italia. With over a year of commitment alongside the organization, Claudia, known for her passionate reporting on the greatest drivers in the world, will be there to tell the story of the deep connection between the values of sport and those of solidarity.

Four Days of Events and Solidarity

The four days of the Grand Prix, from the afternoon of Thursday 29 August until the race on Sunday 1 September, will be packed with events and activities. The public will not only be spectators, but will become protagonists of a concrete act of solidarity, demonstrating how the energy and passion that animate Formula 1 can be put to the service of humanitarian causes of great importance.
