On September 15th, running takes center stage in Monza with the Monza21. It’s an unmissable event for runners of all ages and levels who want to fully embrace the final stretch of the running season.
The Monza21 is a comprehensive and inclusive athletic event, offering four distances: 30 km, half marathon, 10 km (competitive and non-competitive), and the 5 km family run. The competitive challenges, FIDAL certified, are perfect for those looking to get into racing and test themselves on the 10 km, as well as for those aiming to tackle the half marathon or the 30 km in preparation for an autumn marathon.
A full-speed weekend kicks off on the night of Saturday, September 14th, with F1RE, the 12-hour cycling marathon that will light up the Monza National Autodrome, where cycling specialists and enthusiasts will take the stage. On Sunday, September 15th, the spotlight will shift to the Monza21.
The start is scheduled for 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 15th. Participants will run within the beautiful Monza Park, one of the largest enclosed parks in Europe, established on September 14, 1805, by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. This site, which attracts tourists from all over the world every year, spans 720 hectares and features ancient and modern architectural gems, villas, farmhouses, mills, and a variety of flora and fauna unmatched on the continent.
The race village will be set up at the Monza National Autodrome, with the start and finish located near Via Mirabello, and part of the route will include a section of the historic Autodrome track.
