On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October two traditional events in the Brianza Circuit calendar return to the track. These are the Ganten Monza 12H Cycling Marathon and the Ganten Monza21 Half Marathon. Access for the public is free.

A cycling race and a marathon in the next weekend of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Events that demonstrate how the centenary Monza track is able to accommodate the most diverse types of sports disciplines and not just engines in its facilities, both on and off the track.

Liberati-Nemoto are crowned champions in Monza in the Italian GT Endurance Championship

The Italian-Japanese duo won the race and the overall title by taking advantage of the technical problem of the teammates of the VSR team and direct rivals Hites-Michelotto-Basz. Giacomo Pollini, on the other hand, triumphs in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship in front of a good audience.

6 championships, 11 races, over 200 drivers on the track and two absolute titles awarded. With these numbers ended the ACI Racing Weekend 2 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, during which the fate of the Italian GT Endurance Championship and the Italian Sport Prototype Championship were written. Another two-sided weekend, at least in terms of weather, for the Temple of Speed, with a sunny Saturday and a Sunday conditioned by bad weather that slowed down the racing program.

Edoardo Liberati and Yuki Nemoto in Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo won the 2022 Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship . The two VSR team drivers, who arrived at the Brianza circuit with only one point of advantage over teammates Benjamin Hites, Mattia Michelotto and Karol Basz, had to sweat until the last minutes both the triumph in the Monza race and the conquest of the title . The race was in fact very tight at least until Basz was forced to park his car on the side of the track due to a mechanical problem, just at the moment when he was closely following the Lambo direct competitor for the title, driven at that moment. by Nemoto. And it was the Japanese driver who was the real MVP of the race, also compensating for Liberati's back problems and recovering all the positions that the Roman driver had lost in the first third of the race (despite starting from pole), when due to physical limits he it was overtaken by several cars. Nemoto was able to recover to the sound of fast laps and finished the race, made exciting also by the repeated safety cars that reunited the group several times, in front of the trio made up of Jacopo Guidetti, Jorge Cabezas and Leonardo Moncini (Nova Race ) on Honda NSX and another Lamborghini Huracan driven by Raul Guzman, Mateo Llarena and Daan Pijl (Imperiale Racing).

The Italian Sport Prototype Championship was also decided in Monza. Giacomo Pollini (ASD Pollini Race) arrived as a great favorite, at least looking at the mere classification, for the 36 points advantage over Davide Uboldi (Uboldi Corse) and respected the predictions. The driver from Brescia did not even have to wait until Sunday to secure the result, thanks to the second place in race-1 and the eighth place of the only competitor for the fight in the general classification. The victory on Saturday went to poleman Matteo Roccadelli (G-Force Racing), good at resisting throughout the race in Pollini, while Alessio Salvaggio ( Bad Wolves). On Sunday we run in the wet and Pollini proves to be a magician even in critical track conditions, recovering in a very short time from seventh to first place and triumphing undisputed over Uboldi, second and Roccadelli, solid third at the finish.

Lodovico Laurini beat all competitors in the first of two races of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia . Starting from fourth place, the Dinamic Motorsport driver demonstrated his feeling with the very fast track in Brianza and in a few minutes overtook poleman Leonardo Caglioni (Ombra Racing), Benedetto Strignano (Scuderia Villorba Corse) and the leader of the overall classification Gianmarco Quaresmini , also from Ombra Racing. Strignano and Quaresmini were placed behind Laurini, now one step away from the title. In the Sunday appointment Laurini confirmed himself on the podium, finishing third behind Diego Bertonelli (BeDriver) and the South African Keagan Masters (AB Racing), winner of race-2. Not an unforgettable weekend for Jorge Lorenzo (Q8 Hi Perform), who finished both races in the back after a good qualifying on Saturday ended just two tenths from the poleman.

The 44 single-seaters lined up on the starting grid of the Italian F4 Championship also took care of the spectators to enjoy overtaking and duels, including those between teammates. The team Prema Racing was on the shields over the weekend, taking victory in both races of 30 minutes plus one lap between Saturday and Sunday. In fact, in race-1 the Austrian Charlie Wurz triumphed in front of Alexander Dunne and Kacper Sztuka, team mates of US Racing, while in race-2, which was run on Sunday afternoon and also characterized by several doors, Andrea won. Kimi Antonelli, who with these 25 points stretched to first place in the general classification, ahead of Wurz and Martinus Stenshorne (Van Amersfoort Racing). The third race, scheduled for Sunday morning, was instead canceled due to the rain which made the track impracticable for almost two hours.

In race-1 of the Clio Cup Series , a competition of only Renault Clio Cup, the top three finishers seem to be doing a different job than the rest of the grid. David Pouget (GPA Racing), Anthony Jurado (Milan Competition) and Felice Jelmini (PMA Motorsport) take off from the first corners and fight for all 25 minutes plus one lap of the race. In the end, Jelmini wins, while Jurado and Pouget have to settle for second and third place respectively. In race-2, held on Sunday afternoon, Pouget made a brilliant comeback, seeing the checkered flag waving as a first-place winner in front of the two Milan Competition teammates Nicolas Milan and Marc Guillot, practically paired on the finish line, with Milan leading the way. Guillot by a few centimeters.

Paolo Maria Silvestrini is the star of both 25-minute races plus one lap of the MINI Challenge . The leader of the overall standings of the Motorsport team, who arrived on the Brianza track with a 29-point advantage over Ugo Federico Bagnasco (M.Car by AC Racing Technology), starts from pole and sows his rivals both in the dry on Saturday and in the wet on Sunday. , imposing an unsustainable pace for all competitors. In race-1, just Bagnasco closes behind him, more than 5 seconds behind him, while Andrea Palazzo (Fimauto by AC Racing Technology) finishes third. These last two drivers reverse their positions on the podium in the second competition, also staging a fun and extremely correct duel until the last corner.

Motorsport fans won't have to wait long to see another race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Already at the end of October, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, the Temple of Speed will become the home of the Formula X Italian Series , with the last round of the Formula X Racing Weekend and various series on the track in the prestigious Temple of Speed. Further information on the event is available on the official website formulaxitalianseries.it.

The penultimate ACI Racing Weekend of 2022 is staged at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza

ACI Racing Weekend 2 - The absolute titles of the Italian GT Endurance Championship and the Italian Sport Prototype Championship will be decided in the Temple of Speed, in front of an audience that will be able to attend the event for free and access the circuit paddock.

In fact, on the prestigious Brianza track we will find out who will win the title between the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo of Michele Beretta, Edoardo Liberati and Yuki Nemoto, currently at 42 points, and that of Karol Basz, Benjamin Hites and Mattia Michelotto, who follow a single length away. Instead, there will be two appointments between the members of the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship , who will fight for 25 minutes plus one lap both on Saturday at 13:30 and on Sunday at 10:10. Also for this series, Monza will be the last round on the calendar, therefore decisive to decree the triumph of 2022. Giacomo Pollini (ASD Giacomo Race) is called to administer a conspicuous advantage of 36 points over the only pursuer who can undermine him, Davide Uboldi. All the drivers on the starting grid will drive Wolf GB 08 Thunder.

The great awaited among the drivers of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia is Jorge Lorenzo, former multiple world champion in MotoGP, who has already attended Monza for the collective tests on 13 April and who will return to the Brianza asphalt to compete. The Spaniard will be involved with the Q8 Hi-Perform Team, together with the other riders in the series, in two races of 28 minutes plus one lap, the first at 16:10 on Saturday and the second at noon on Sunday. In this championship, Monza will not determine the outcome of the entire season, which will close its doors at Mugello on 22-23 October, but at the moment the absolute first place is firmly in the hands of Gianmarco Quaresmini (Ombra Racing - Centro Porsche Brescia), that with 161 points precedes Giorgio Amati and Alberto Cerqui, paired at 128 and both of Team Ghinzani Arco Motorsport - Porsche Centers Milan.

The Italian F4 Championship , a single brand series of only Tatuus F.4 T421, will bring to the Autodrome, between tests and races, over 40 drivers, who will line up on the starting grid three times to complete 30 minutes plus one lap. The start of race-1 is scheduled for Saturday at 3:10 pm, while race-2 will take place on Sunday at 9:10 am, and race-3, at 5:10 pm, at the end of the weekend racing timetable. On the eve of the penultimate round of the championship, the leader of the overall standings is Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who precedes the closest of his rivals, teammate Rafael Camara of Prema Racing, by 61 lengths.

Finally, the Clio Cup Series (divided between Clio Cup Europe and Clio Cup Italia) and the MINI Challenge will also be protagonists of the ACI Racing Weekend 2. Out of a total of 46 entrants, the parterre of Italian drivers at the start for the two 25-minute races plus a lap of the Clio Cup Series , one on Saturday at 12:30 and the other on Sunday at 13:40, will be packed, with 25 local drivers. Two of these are playing for the overall title of the Clio Cup Italy, with Gabriele Torelli (Faro Racing) who has a 6-point margin over Felice Jelmini (PMA Motorsport). The MINI Challenge also features two 25-minute races plus one lap, with the drivers racing for the first time on Saturday at 2:20 pm and for the second race at 11:05 am on Sunday. The drivers will be divided into three categories: Academy, Evo, and Pro.

All fans who want to access the Circuit to experience the emotions of the track from a few meters can do so without paying any ticket. The entrance to the racetrack is in fact completely free on Friday 7 October, while only the payment of the parking is foreseen for Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October, with a cost of 15 euros for cars and 5 euros for motorcycles. From Friday to Sunday it will also be possible to freely access the paddock . Among the various attractions of the Temple of Speed, the JustSpeed Monza Karting will also be open over the weekend, the semi-permanent kart track of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza located inside the Parabolica square and designed for the enjoyment of entire families. The Temple of Speed celebrates its Centenary with an iconic poster collection

Autodromo Nazionale Monza presents a limited edition of 100 pieces to retrace the first 100 years of life and tell through images unforgettable moments that belong to the history of motoring and are part of the memory and identity of our country.

For its Centenary the Autodromo Nazionale Monza has decided to create a unique, limited edition artistic work dedicated to all motoring enthusiasts and to those who, at least once, have walked the entrance to the Temple of Speed to attend a unique and recognized event worldwide like the Italian Grand Prix.

It is a special collection that includes 11 posters , or one for each decade of activity plus a commemorative one in the year of the Centenary. A journey through the history of the editions of the Italian Grand Prix as well as a real manifesto on the evolution of the racing car. The posters, in fact, are inspired by the official Grand Prix posters that have remained in the annals starting from 1922, the year of the birth of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and passing, for example, from the 1949 edition won by Alberto Ascari to that of 1976. which saw the unforgettable Ronnie Peterson triumph, to get to more recent years such as 2003 in which Michael Schumacher won and 2019 with the triumph of Charles Leclerc.

The limited edition was conceived and re-edited by international artistic collective Automobilist, whose mission is to give new energy through art and technology to motoring stories in collaboration with the most renowned houses in the sector as well as with the Federations and the most important players in the sporting and non-sporting panorama. Among the most important collaborations are F1, WRC, FIA, 24 Heures of Le Mans, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Porsche and the Formula 1 teams of McLaren and Mercedes.

The special collection will be produced in only 100 pieces and will be available on the shop of the official website of the Monzanet.it Circuit at the price of 799 euros.

At the same time, an additional 100 pieces will also be available for each of the 11 posters that can be purchased outside the collection at the price of 69 euros, excluding the posters of 1922 and 2022 at the price of 129 euros.

This initiative is a further piece within the wider activity plan that Autodromo Nazionale Monza conceived in the year of the Centenary: it was in fact September 3, 1922 when, on the impulse of the Automobile Club Milano, world motorsport and motor racing have found their home. The Monza Circuit is not just an asphalt track, but has represented and given voice to the stories of many men and women who, competing as drivers, builders, designers, technicians and mechanics, have fueled the passion for this sport and contributed to progress technology of the automotive sector.

Show in the Temple of Speed with International GT Open and Trial delle Nazioni

Riccardo Cazzaniga from Monza wins race-1 of the GT Open together with Klaus Bachler in the wet, while Osborne-Moss bends the resistance of their rivals in the dry. Italy goes to the podium in all classes of the Trial and triumphs in the Challenge category in front of hundreds of spectators.

There was no shortage of surprises at the weekend of the International GT Open and the Trial delle Nazioni at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. For the GT Open races, both in the premier class and in the five support series, the leaders of the overall rankings experienced a weekend of highs and lows, giving way to unexpected victories. In the Trial, on the other hand, Italy got on the podium in the men and women and achieved a prestigious success in the Challenge class with Alessia Bacchetta and Mirko Pedretti. For both events, the weather, not exactly benevolent on Saturday, also took care of it, to make them even more unpredictable, with several riders of both the two and four wheels who demonstrated their skills in extreme conditions.

The Italian flag flies on the top step of the podium of race-1 of the International GT Open. The credit goes to Riccardo Cazzaniga from Monza who, together with the Austrian Klaus Bachler of the Dinamic Motorsport team, team making their seasonal debut, won the victory on Saturday in the wet after obtaining an excellent third place in qualifying on the Porsche 991 GT3 R 2019. Cazzaniga starts well and consolidates the starting position, but the real turning point of the race comes when the driver changes under the safety car regime, when the duo manages to be faster than their rivals and to jump in the lead, keeping it up to the checkered flag. Behind them, second and third respectively, are the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - 2021 of Florian Scholze and Alain Valente (Team GT) and the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo of Roman Ziemian and Axcil Jefferies (Kessel Racing). Difficult race for the Oregon Team, with the two pairs of drivers fighting for the title finishing seventh with Kevin Gilardoni and Glenn Van Berlo and eighth with Benjamin Hites and Leonardo Pulcini.

Race-2 on Sunday is also decided by the whirlwind of pit stops and strategies. The first part of the race sees an intense battle between David Fumanelli's Ferrari (Kessel Racing), Bachler's Porsche and Joe Osborne's McLaren 720 S GT3 (Optimum Motorsport), competing for the lead for several laps. But it is McLaren's strategy that pays more than all the others, with Osborne stopping later than his rivals, setting a better pace with a clear road ahead and gaining the advantage enough to give teammate Nick Moss a comfortable return to the track. as a leader at the moment of the passing of the baton. Osborne-Moss thus crossed the finish line first, preceding Hites-Pulcini - second - and the duo Sébastien Baud-Steve Jans (GetSpeed Performance) on Mercedes AMG GT3 - 2022. The results of the weekend still keep the games open for the drivers' title, which will be decided in Barcelona.

Jan Lauryssen is en plein in the two races of the GT Cup Open Europe . On Saturday, the Belgian driver of the Q1-trackracing team cleared all competitors by 15 seconds after recovering from the third position on the grid, preceding both teammate John de Wilde, second, and the duo composed of Jaume Font and Joan at the finish line. Vinyes (Baporo Motorsport), which must be satisfied with the less prestigious square of the podium. All three drivers were behind the wheel of a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. In race-2 on Sunday Lauryssen precedes the duo Dirk Schouten-Lukas Valkre (Q1-trackracing) and Font-Vinyes, again third.

It was a weekend of two faces for TCR Europe overall leader Franco Girolami (Comtoyou Racing). In race-1, won by John Filippi's CUPRA Leon Competition TCR (Sébastien Loeb Racing - Bardhal Team) ahead of Jáchym Galáš's Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai Janìk Motorsport) and Mike Halder's Honda Civic Type R FK7 TCR (Halder Motorsport) ), Girolami had to be satisfied with the final twelfth place, before making a comeback in the Sunday appointment, concluded as the winner. Behind the Argentine driver's Audi RS 3 LMS II TCR, the CUPRA Leon of Klim Gavrilov (Volcano Motorsport) and Sergio López (RC2 Junior Team) finished in order. With this result, Girolami is the big favorite to win the title in the last round of the championship scheduled in Barcelona.

Even Oliver Goethe, protagonist of the Euroformula Open until now, did not live the weekend he had imagined. In the first of the three Brianza races, the Dane did not go beyond sixth place. The victory was won by poleman Vladislav Lomko (Cryptotower Racing Team), who triumphed in the wet ahead of Frederick Lubin (Team Motopark) and his teammate Christian Mansell. In race-2, Goethe was unlucky and was forced to start from the pitlane due to a technical problem a few moments from the start. Cryptotower Racing Team thus obtained another victory with Josh Mason, who preceded Lomko and Alex García (Team Motopark). In the last race, Lomko repeated himself, finishing ahead of Mason and Lubin, while Goethe, fourth until a few laps to go, spun after being involved in a collision.
