It is possible to reach the Autodromo Nazionale Monza using different types of public and private transport: car, motorbike, train, plane, bus, taxi.

Useful information for the Formula 1 Pirelli Italian Grand Prix 2024

AVAILABLE PARKING

Open on the three days of the race (Friday, Saturday, Sunday):

  • Green Parking: 500 m from Gates C and D. Also available for motorbikes and campers.
  • Gold Parking: 1 km from Gate A and 1.5 km from Gate G. Also available for motorbikes.
  • Orange Parking: 2 km from Gate A. Also available for motorbikes (The Orange Parking area closes at 10:30 PM)
  • Platinum Parking: 1 km from Gate A
  • White Parking: 600 m from Gate C
  • Red Parking: 3.5 km from Gate G. Also available for buses.

Open only on Saturdays and Sundays:

  • Brown Parking: 1 km from Gates C and B. Also available for buses.
  • Purple Parking: 4.5 km from Porta di Vedano (Viola shuttle available, with its final stop located a 5-minute walk from Gate A
  • Red Parking: 3.5 km from Gate G. Also available for buses.
  • Blue Parking: 5 km from Gate G (Blue Shuttle service available, with its final stop located 600 m from Gate G)

Bicycle parking lots: located in Via Parco (Lesmo) and Viale Cavriga (Monza), open all three days.

SHUTTLES SERVICE AVAILABLE

  • Black Shuttle: Route from Piazza Castello (Platform 7, Monza Train Station)) and Viale Mirabello
    • Friday, Saturday and Sunday: from 7.30am to 8.30pm.
  • Blue Shuttle : Route from Viale Stucchi (Brianteo Stadium area – Blue Parking) and Viale Mirabello
    • Saturday and Sunday: from 7.00 to 20.30
  • Purple Shuttle: Route from Via Grigna (Purple Parking) and Via Monte Grappa (Vedano al Lambro)
    • Saturday and Sunday : from 7.00 to 20.30

The shuttles operate continuously throughout the day, with frequencies adjusting based on demand. Frequencies are generally lower in the early morning and increase as the race start time approaches and during departures.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Each shuttle ticket includes travel to and from the destination. Purchasing a Purple or Blue Parking ticket provides two shuttle passes valid for the respective parking day. The weekend pass includes two shuttle tickets for Saturday and two for Sunday.

Starting August 1st, you can purchase the integrated TRAIN+SHUTTLE ticket from TRENORD’s website. This ticket includes a train journey from Milan to Monza and back, along with the Black Shuttle service from Monza station to the circuit.


By car and motorbike to Monza

Arrive at Autodromo Nazionale Monza by car or motorcycle through the following routes

From Milan

From Milan - Viale Zara: V.le Fulvio Testi, V.le Brianza, V.le Lombardia, Rondò dei Pini, Villa Reale, then access to the Park from via Porta Vedano or Porta Santa Maria alle Selve (pedestrians and service personnel only).

From Milano - Piazzale Loreto: Viale Monza, Sesto San Giovanni, V.le Casiraghi, V.le Brianza, Viale Lombardia, Rondò dei Pini, Villa Reale, then access to the Park via Porta Vedano or Porta Santa Maria alle Selve (pedestrians and service personnel only).

From Turin

Autostrada A4 Torino-Milano, then onto Milano-Venezia until the Cinisello Balsamo-Sesto San Giovanni-Milano Viale Zara exit, then follow directions as from Milan.

From Como or Varese

Autostrada A9 to Saronno, then SS 527 to Rondò dei Pini, then follow directions as from Milan; alternatively, via Bovisio Masciago to Desio for Porta Biassono or Porta Vedano

From Lecco

SS 36 road to Rondò dei Pini, then follow directions as from Milan.

From Genoa

A7 highway towards Milan, then follow the Western bypass towards Venice and the Eastern bypass. After the tollgate:

  • Exit No. 16 towards Monza;
  • Exit No. 20 towards Vimercate, Villasanta direction.

From Florence or Bologna

A1 highway towards Milan, then follow the Eastern bypass towards Venice, continuing as from Genoa.

From Brennero or from Venice

A4 highway until the Agrate exit, then SP 13 towards Monza or Concorezzo with entrance at Villasanta gate, or towards Vimercate with entrance at San Giorgio gate or Lesmo gate.


Train to Monza

Monza Train Station, located on Via Caduti del Lavoro, serves as the primary railway hub for the Brianza region. Situated on the Milan – Chiasso line, it is accessible via suburban railway lines S8, S9, and S11, and serves as the terminus for lines to Lecco and Molteno. The station is approximately 6.6 km from the racetrack and can be accessed by bus or on foot.

Although Monza does not have a metro system, Line 1 of the Milan Metro provides connectivity. Travelers can disembark at Sesto 1° Maggio FS and then transfer to the Z221 bus route, which stops in Monza. For inquiries, Monza Station can be reached at Tel. +39 039 323465.

Taxi and NCC service in Monza

Access to taxis and rental vehicles with drivers is permitted, but they cannot park inside the circuit. All passengers (excluding the driver) must possess a valid pass. You can call your taxi in Monza with the appTaxi smartphone application, download it at this link , or by calling 039-36379.


Plane to Monza

Upon arrival at the airport, we recommend making your way to the train stations in Milan, from where you can easily reach Monza.

Linate airport

Linate Airport is located to the east of Milan, approximately 10 kilometers from the city center and 25 kilometers from Autodromo Nazionale Monza. It offers the following services:

Malpensa Airport is located towards Lake Maggiore, approximately 40 km from Milan and 50 km from the Autodromo. It offers the following services:

Orio al Serio airport

Orio al Serio International Airport is located northeast of Milan, approximately 5 km from Bergamo, 45 km from Milan, and 40 km from the Autodromo. It offers the following services:
